Wayne de Villiers - Senior Pastor
Wayne and Rebecca, with their four children: Joelle, Timothy, Luke, and Peter, moved to Soldotna in February 2021. Wayne initially served as Pastor of Adult Ministries and Counseling before becoming Senior Pastor in October 2022. The Lord drew Wayne to faith in his childhood, and by the time he finished high school, he believed God was calling him to pastoral ministry. He began teaching and preaching in the late 1990's, and moved from South Africa to Los Angeles to study at the Master's Seminary in 2000. After graduating in 2006 he continued to be actively involved in Bible teaching at Grace Community Church, while studying Biblical counseling, and working at Grace to You.
Francisco Vega - Family Pastor; Ramsey Vega - Children’s Director

Francisco and Ramsey Vega with their four children (Nico, Luka, Xavi, and Luz). Francisco is a transplant from the great state of Indiana. Ramsey was born and raised in Alaska. Francisco and Ramsey met at Moody Bible Institute and moved back to Alaska upon graduation in the Spring of 2010. Francisco came on staff as the youth pastor in the Fall of 2015 and transitioned to Family Pastor in the Spring of 2022. After ministering with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Alaska for many years, Ramsey was hired as the Children’s Director in the Summer of 2022.
Gary Lindman - Director of Worship

Gary's father, Carl Lindman, was the first pastor of Soldotna Bible Chapel in 1968. Gary graduated from Kenai Central High School in 1973 and then attended Bethel College, receiving his degree in Music Education. He began teaching at Soldotna Elementary School in 1977 and served there for 11 years. Gary also was the Director of Music at the Chapel for all those years. In 1979, he married his sweetheart, Marsha. In 1988, he transferred to Soldotna High School where he continued as choir teacher and activities director. Gary earned a Masters in Administration and Supervision and in 1995 became an administrator with the North Slope Borough School District for seven years, serving in Point Hope and Barrow. He retired from education in 2002. In 2003, he returned to the staff at the Bible Chapel as Worship Director.
Budd Tressler - Facility Operations & Management
Budd Tressler came to SBC in 2002. A lifelong resident of the Kenai Peninsula, Budd has a heart to serve his Lord and has a passion for missions to see people saved worldwide. Budd is both a father and grandfather.
Rhea Stables - Ministry Assistant

Rhee joined the staff in 2011 and currently job-shares the secretary position with Patti Gaede. Rhee has been married to her teenage sweetheart, Rich, for 37 years. They have two married children, a grandson and 3 granddaughters. She grew up in Alaska, going to Cook Inlet Academy for most of her school years. Rhee also lived in Indiana and on a Navajo mission in New Mexico.
Patti Gaede - Ministry Assistant
Patti Gaede came on staff at SBC in 2018. She works in the office along-side Rhee Stables. They work as a team, administrative ministry assistants to the pastors and leaders. Patti has been a member of SBC since 1970, where she met and eventually married her husband, Mark, in 1976. Between the years of 1992 and 2014 they traveled between Alaska, Saudi Arabia, and Texas, spending numerous years in those places several times. While living in the Middle East, they had opportunities to visit many different countries in that part of the world. Their 2 daughters shared in those years of travel, learning much about other cultures.
