All prayer requests passed through the prayer chain need to be from the person requesting prayer or a close friend or family member. For phone requests or email requests contact Jenn Barkman or 260-6962.
The kitchen ministry provides meals on Wednesday Awana nights to anyone at a suggested donation of $1 per person. If you would be interested in helping prepare the Wednesday night meal, please contact Marsha Lindman 907-262-4525.
Flowers for Recovery and Newborns
Flowers usually bring a smile to someone's face. Susan Lockwood sends flowers from the Bible Chapel when someone is in the hospital. She also arranges for a rose and birth announcement to be made when a new baby arrives to one of our married couples.
Susan Lockwood creatively decorates the sanctuary for the seasons of the year and provides flowers for the altar and stage.
Baby and Wedding Showers
This ministry provides a married mother with a shower for her first baby born. Wedding showers are given to an engaged person who regularly attends the Chapel. Yes, occasionally we even throw a groom's shower for all to attend. If you would like to host a shower in your home or share a word of encouragement with the honored person, please contact Sue Martin .
Get Well Cards
Everyone needs a little cheering up when they are sick. Sandy Suelzle sends out Get Well cards to those who are ill.
The helping hands ministry is designed to give women relief from cooking when a major life event occurs such as childbirth, sickness, or death in the family. Ladies in the church can give their names to Tina Hensley (email@example.com) to help provide a meal when needed.
The nursery provides a place where busy little-ones can wiggle and play while parents enjoy the church service. Ladies, teens, and families are welcome to volunteer to help in the nursery by contacting Pam Beard.
The Serving Groups provide service and clean up during Chapel functions, which include church socials, farewell socials, refreshments after programs, and receptions for memorial services. There are four Serving Groups with about 25 people in each group that are called on about three or four times a year to serve. If you would like to help with a Serving Group, please contact Gloria Hart.
